Evening Radiance on the Kaw
At its January 2014 meeting the UWC Board approved the purchase of the painting, 'Evening Radiance on the Kaw', by Cally Krallman. The painting was begun in view of members as part of the December 2013 program on Music of the 1860's from their Kansas Song Project by members of the Americana Music Academy. The completed work was unveiled at the March 2014 luncheon meeting. The painting now hangs permanently in the Malott Room of the Kansas Memorial Union.
