Welcome UWC

Since 1900, our members meet for friendship and to serve the University and was formed in 1900 to help women take advantage of the educational, cultural and social heritage of KU.

Parent Organization:
 University of Kansas

University Women's Club serves needs in three areas:

Scholarship: UWC awards scholarships annually to assist women students in pursuit of their educational goals at KU. (To apply for a UWC Scholarship, download the scholarship form or contact KU's Financial Aid & Scholarship Department.

Service: UWC members contribute their time and talents to the University and within the Lawrence community.

Social: UWC fosters friendships, from mentoring newcomers and keeping retirees involved to forming groups with others who share like interests.

You can join the University Women's Club at any time. Select the events and interest groups you wish to attend. UWC monthly luncheon meetings are planned to fit into your work schedules. Members can attend the programs that precede meals and join members for lunch if they wish. Become involved as much or as little as you like.

UWC membership is open to women graduates of The University of Kansas as well as spouses and faculty from other universities.. Join now and enjoy interesting programs, the enjoyable interest groups and numerous friendships!
